Above roughly 105 °C the standard compounds are out and the choice becomes silicone, PTFE or FEP. Each behaves differently: silicone stays flexible but has lower mechanical strength, PTFE and FEP take higher temperatures and resist chemicals but are stiffer and cost more. This family covers the range where those trade-offs start to matter.
State the continuous temperature, not the peak. A construction rated for a short excursion is not the same as one rated continuously, and the difference decides whether silicone or fluoropolymer is used.

Every construction in this table is a build we have made, described by its technical data only. The buyer, the platform it went into and the application remain that buyer's — we do not use a customer's design as a reference or a case study. If you need a reference for a comparable programme, ask at enquiry stage and we will say what we are able to share.
Silicone and High Temperature Cable buying questions.
Constructions in this family reach 200 °C and above depending on the insulation. The continuous rating, not the peak, sets the material choice.
Silicone where flexibility matters and the temperature is moderate; fluoropolymer where the temperature is higher or chemical resistance is needed.
Yes. Thermocouple constructions with matched conductor alloys are in this family.
